PRAYER TEAM
Commit to praying for Catalyst, our community and how we can join in on where God already working. Join our pre-service prayer team.
PRAYER AND CARE
This team prays over the requests submitted to the church and follows up with people as needed.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Help create an engaging environment for kids to experience God's goodness and grace on Sunday mornings and at special events.
STUDENT MINISTRY
Help students experience God's goodness and grace through small groups, service experiences and other events. Serve on Wednesday evenings and at special events.
WORSHIP TEAM
Use your gifts to lead people in a participatory worship experience. We are looking for people who play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums as well as vocalists and other instruments. We are also looking for readers, artists and other creative contributions our services.
TECH TEAM
Support the audio, lighting and video needs of worship experiences and special events.
SET-UP/TAKE DOWN
Minister through set-up, facility prep and problem solving to ensure great environments for ministry.
PROMOTION
Minister through marketing strategies including social media, sign displays, fliers and more to help raise awareness about the mission and ministries of the church.
CONNECTION/GROUPS
Assist helping attenders and guests become more deeply connected through follow-up, small groups, service opportunities and connection events.
PARTNERSHIP LIAISON
Work with a community partner to establish a relationship with our church. Help identify volunteer opportunities and other ways our church can be a blessing to their organization.
LOGISTICS
Provide direction to volunteer teams on Sunday mornings, ensuring set-up and systems are in place.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Use your financial services background to help the church budget and give monthly reports to the congregation. You can also serve through counting offering.
HOSPITALITY
Help people feel comfortable and connected at Catalyst through greeting, manning the welcome table, ushering or serving coffee and donuts.
Our church depends on new people stepping into these important roles! We will equip you with all the training and support you need. No experience necessary. Certain roles will require an application/screening process for safety standards. We ask volunteers to make a once or twice a month commitment. Simply email us to get started.

We believe the local church can be a trusted partner in the community as we engage and support organizations working toward meeting needs, bringing justice and blessing the community.
We are engaging in partnerships with several non-profits and ministries in the area. We can't wait to continue to be involved for good and positive change in the White Bear Lake area!
Minnesota, Meals From The Heart is a nonprofit that brings people together to serve through energized and fun meal-packing events that provide flavorful, fortified meals to local food shelves. Working with Meals From The Heart allows participants from all walks of life to join forces to address a serious need in their own community and experience a sense of accomplishment, stronger relationships, goodwill, and joy. For over 75 years, InterVarsity has had a vital presence on hundreds of college campuses, courageously proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior, engaging in discipleship around Scripture, and loving people of every ethnicity and culture.
Catalyst partners specifically with the Century College chapter of InterVarsity.
The YMCA’s mission is “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.” Catalyst’s partnership goal is assist the White Bear Area YMCA, however and whenever possible, to carry out it’s mission in our community.
