Believer Baptism

Baptism is a celebration of God's saving work in your life. It's also a sacrament; an outward sign of an invisible grace. Through baptism, we identify with Jesus' death and resurrection as we go under and come out of the water. We outwardly proclaim our faith through celebrating baptism as part of our church worship gathering.

Helpful passages in exploring baptism include: Romans 6:1-4, Ephesians 4:1-6, Matthew 28:18-20, Matthew 3:13-17.

Infant and Child Dedication and Baptism

In dedication, parents dedicate themselves to raising their child to know and love God through modeling faith at home and bringing them up in the church. During the service, the congregation commits to supporting the family and we ask God's blessing on the child and parent(s). In faith, we trust that the child will choose the sacrament of baptism when they reach the age they can profess faith in Christ.

In infant baptism, we celebrate the sacrament of baptism as visible sign of God's invisible grace. Parents dedicate themselves to raising their child to know and love God and the congregation commits themselves to support the family. Children will have the opportunity to confirm their faith and affirm their baptism when they reach the age they can profess faith in Christ.

Both dedication and infant baptism celebrate a significant milestone experience for your child and family as part of the church.
